About

Helping Women Encounter Christ Through Movement

SoulCore beautifully unites my passion for wellness with my Catholic faith, allowing me to serve women in a way that strengthens both body and spirit.

Meet Lisa

“Movement has always been part of my life—but I discovered that true wellness begins in the soul.”

For years, I taught fitness because I loved helping people grow stronger and healthier. Yet I found myself wanting something more. I watched women (including myself) carrying stress, anxiety, grief, and exhaustion, longing not just for physical strength, but for peace.

When I discovered SoulCore, everything changed.

I realized movement could become prayer. Exercise could become worship. Caring for the body could draw us closer to Christ.

Today, it is my joy to guide women into that experience—creating a peaceful space where faith and movement come together so they can quiet the noise of everyday life, pray with intention, and leave feeling renewed in mind, body, and soul.

“The Rosary is a school for learning true Christian perfection.” -Pope John XXIII

I have learned so much through this SoulCore journey. Incorporating the BODY into prayer has elevated my understanding of the rosary and of what it means to be a Christian. It truly is a school for learning and I look forward to growing more and more with each passing day.

Helping Women Encounter Christ Through Movement

At Mind, Body & SoulCore, every class is designed to nurture the whole person.

You’ll experience:

✓ Gentle, functional movement

✓ Scripture and the Rosary

✓ Moments of silence and reflection

✓ A welcoming community

✓ Time to rest in God’s presence

This isn’t about achieving the perfect workout. It’s about making space for Jesus.

Why SoulCore?

“Be still, and know that I am God.” — Psalm 46:10

SoulCore isn’t yoga.

It is a prayer experience rooted in the beauty of the Catholic faith that combines gentle movement with the prayers of the Rosary.

Each class invites you to slow down, breathe deeply, reflect on Scripture, and encounter Christ in a peaceful and restorative way.

No experience is necessary. Every woman is welcome.

About SoulCore

SoulCore is a movement born from the desire to nourish body AND soul through prayer and core strengthening, functional exercises.

The need to involve the senses in interior prayer corresponds to a requirement of our human nature. We are body and spirit, and we experience the need to translate our feelings externally. We must pray with our whole being to give all power possible to our supplication. (Catechism of the Catholic Church 2702)

Uniting BODY, mind & soul in prayer makes our prayer more powerful!

“God seeks worshippers in Spirit and in Truth, and consequently living prayer that rises from the depths of the soul. He also wants the external expression that associates the body with interior prayer, for it renders him that perfect homage which is His due.” (Catechism of the Catholic Church 2703)

By uniting BODY with internal prayer we offer God more PERFECT worship/praise!
